ABOUT US

The St Denys’ Craft Group was formed in the Autumn of 2018 for anyone who would like to meet to share craft ideas and skills.  Our primary aim is to provide an opportunity to meet with other "crafty" folk, for a relaxed afternoon of crafting over a cuppa, with lots of chat & laughter.

We usually meet on alternate Thursdays (except during the Christmas period), when different skills or techniques are introduced. On the other weeks, materials and equipment are available for any members to borrow, if they wish to continue with their projects at home.    All sessions take place in  St Denys’ Church, Rotherfield, East Sussex from 14:30 to 17:00, unless otherwise publicised.

The St Denys’ Craft Group is open to anyone interested in participating in our crafting activities.

No previous experience is required – beginners and seasoned crafters are equally welcome! Attendance at sessions can be regular or on an ad hoc basis, if there is a particular craft you wish to try. Suggestions for future activities and/or offers to demonstrate a different craft skill to the group, are always most welcome too. Most activities are free of charge, especially when items created are donated to our Craft Stall.   However, we do ask for a small contribution towards the cost of materials used.

Details of forthcoming activities are available in the current Quarterly Programme

membership

We would encourage everyone to become a member, so as to be included in group notifications and to receive information relating to forthcoming activities and events – in particular about any materials or items that might need to be brought along to a particular session. These notifications are sent via email.

Members also have access to our resources, both on line and from our store in church.  This includes materials for crafting, instruction sheets for crafting activities and sewing, knitting and crochet patterns.

If you would like to join the group, please complete the membership form:
